Forged and cast are different catalogs. When importers should pay for forging, when cast is enough, and how XBORUL quotes without mixing the two stories.
Wholesale catalogs that say “alloy wheels” without a process lose the buyer. Forged and cast are different strength, weight, price and sample paths. XBORUL is a forged-wheel manufacturer and exporter. Cast is an entry path only when the program is clearly labeled — not a substitute for a forged SKU in the same photo.
Direct answer
If the catalog sells strength-to-weight, custom PCD and a brand price, quote forged (1/2/3-piece). If the channel is a low-price entry size with high volume and less custom ET, ask whether a labeled cast program even belongs in that book. Do not market a cast face as forged.
What forging changes for the importer
- Blank is forged, then CNC — not poured into a mold as the primary structure
- Custom size / PCD / ET is the normal path, not a special request
- Sample MOQ on many forged programs is 4 pieces
- Structural warranty on forged XBORUL wheels: 5 years against manufacturing defects
Process language: FORGED Technology. Plant video: How we make wheels.
When buyers still ask about cast
Some importer books need an entry SKU under the same brand. That is a different drawing, different QC story and different claim set. If we quote it, it is named as cast — never as “forged look.” Empty or unused cast landings on this site redirect to the live catalog so search engines do not index a hollow page.
Quote fields that keep the two paths apart
- Process: forged (and which structure) vs cast
- Load / market: street performance, EV, trail, truck stance
- Finish: chrome and brush cost more on forged faces; lock the swatch
- Paper: DOT / JWL-VIA style documents are per SKU, not a factory-wide stamp. Partner-plant certificates are labeled as such.
