XBORUL forged programs carry a 5-year structural warranty against manufacturing defects. What that means for importers — and what finish, impact and wrong-ET issues are not.
Warranty language is where catalogs over-promise. XBORUL’s forged wheels carry a 5-year structural warranty against manufacturing defects on approved forged programs. It is a factory commitment on the structure we machined from a 6061-T6 forged path — not a blanket for racing damage, curb rash or a drawing the buyer changed after sample.
Direct answer
If a forged wheel fails structurally because of a manufacturing defect within five years on an approved program, we work the claim on that SKU. Cosmetic finish, impact, overload, and “we ran a different ET” are outside that sentence. How to open a claim: photos, drawing number, vehicle, date of sample approval. Contact. FAQ.
What “structural” means here
The forged blank, CNC geometry and the integrity of the wheel as produced to the signed drawing. Process context: FORGED Technology, 6061-T6, Factory (including balance).
It does not mean:
- Chrome peel or brush wear from chemicals and automatic washes — finish is a separate conversation. Finishes
- Cracks from pothole / rock / beadlock misuse on a street drawing. Trail hardware is a different SKU. Beadlock vs monoblock
- Vibration after a shop skipped balance weights or mounted an out-of-round tire
- A bulk PO that does not match the approved sample drawing. Approval checklist
How claims stay honest
- Drawing number and photos of the wheel on and off the car
- Proof it is the SKU we packed (carton marks, PO)
- What the vehicle did (daily, track, trail)
- Whether papers were requested for that market — per SKU
We do not invent a named-customer case study from a claim. Program notes on this site are fitment references, not a delivery log.
How to reduce claims before they start
- Lock PCD / ET / CB. Spec note
- Send caliper photos. Clearance
- Do not sell one 5×112 SKU as both BMW and Mercedes without CB callouts. 5×112 split
- Keep finish and structure in the catalog accurate. Forged vs cast
Commercial reminder

Worked example
A dealer reports a cracked spoke after a pothole on a 20″ 1-piece, drawing approved, 14 months in. We ask for photos of the fracture, the inner, the tire, and whether the vehicle was lowered beyond the approved ET. If the break is from impact on an otherwise in-spec wheel, that is not a manufacturing-defect structural claim. If machining or material is in question, we treat it as a claim on that drawing number. Either way we need the PDF, not a marketplace screenshot.
Finish vs structure — say it on the website
Do not write “5-year warranty” next to a chrome beauty shot without the word structural. Chrome and brush have their own wear. Buyers who read the finish note argue less.
FAQ
Does the warranty transfer to the retail driver?
Importers should put their own retail policy in front. Our commitment is to the B2B buyer on the approved forged SKU.
Is racing covered?
Not as a default. If the drawing was a street catalog SKU, track abuse is outside. Say the use on the RFQ if you need a different conversation.
Beadlock rings?
Hardware and ring damage from air-down use is not the same as a forged-center manufacturing defect. Split SKUs. Off-road.
How fast do you respond on a claim?
Same sales channel as quotes — target within 3 hours on business days to acknowledge, then we ask for the photo pack.
