EV catalogs need more than a Tesla-shaped photo. Load path, size, PCD, aero-looking faces and finish all sit on the drawing. How XBORUL quotes EV forged programs without fake OEM claims.
EV wheel RFQs often arrive as “make a Tesla-style 21 inch.” Style is the easy part. The part that fails is unlabeled load, unknown CB, and a face that does not clear the factory caliper. XBORUL will quote a forged EV program as a manufacturable SKU for brands and importers — not as an OEM-approved Tesla part unless that is a separate, written program.
Direct answer
Send platform (model/year or PCD/ET/CB), diameter × width, quantity and finish. We confirm a forged 6061-T6 path, usually sample MOQ 4. Tesla-class landing: Tesla forged wheels. General catalog: 1-piece forged.
What is different about EV catalogs
- Weight and size — buyers want large diameter without a heavy cast look. That is a forging conversation, not a chrome conversation. Forged vs cast
- Face language — clean concave, aero-ish covers, brushed and dark paints sell; deep-lip 2-piece is a different shopper. Finishes
- Fitment — Tesla and other EVs are not one PCD. Lock the generation. PCD / ET / CB
- Load — we do not invent a load rating in a blog post. If your market needs a stated load or a paper, put it on the RFQ and we confirm per SKU. Compliance papers
Tesla-class vs “any EV”
Tesla-class programs are a named landing because search demand is concentrated. Other EVs (European performance EVs, Chinese export EVs, US crossovers) still work the same factory path: drawing, sample, bulk. If the cap and spoke layout must look like a specific OEM, say so — that is styling reference, not a claim that Tesla or another OEM appointed XBORUL.

Structure choice for EV books
Most EV importer books start 1-piece for repeatability and cleaner inner barrels. 2-piece appears when the channel wants a lip. 3-piece is a flagship, not the whole first container. How to choose structure.
Sample and scale
Evaluate fitment and finish on 4 pieces, photograph, then scale. Do not jump to a container from a render. Path: sample to container. Plant video including balance: Factory.
RFQ
Platform, size, PCD/ET/CB if known, finish, whether you need aero covers or just a face, destination market, quantity. Contact. Typical reply within 3 hours during business hours.
Worked example
An importer wants a 21″ brushed concave for a Tesla-class catalog plus a 20″ gloss black for a European performance EV. Those are two drawings: different PCD/CB families, different caliper packs, maybe different load asks. We will not “just scale the Tesla face” onto the second car. Sample the Tesla-class SKU first if that is the hero photo; add the second platform after sell-through. Year-one grid: first-year assortment.
What we will not write on the website for you
- That XBORUL is an OEM to Tesla or any carmaker unless a separate contract exists — it is not the story on this site
- A load rating invented for SEO
- A single SKU that “fits all EVs”
We will write manufacturable size, structure, finish, sample MOQ and the market you named. Papers stay per SKU. Certifications.
FAQ
Do EV wheels need a different alloy?
We still quote 6061-T6 forged for these programs unless the RFQ says otherwise. 6061-T6.
Aero covers?
Possible as a related part. They are not implied by a concave photo. Ask on the RFQ.
Can I use a deep-lip 2-piece on an EV?
Sometimes, if clearance and load path allow. Most first books still start 1-piece. 2-piece line.
Warranty?
5-year structural on approved forged programs. What it covers.
